Our client is a growing and collaborative organization seeking a Finance Analyst to join their finance team. This role is 3 days a week in the office in the GTA.
Description
- Provide ongoing functional support for Workday Financials, helping maintain financial processes, configurations, and core system data to support day-to-day finance operations
- Assist finance teams throughout the monthly close cycle by monitoring system activity, coordinating resolutions, and addressing issues to help ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives by participating in workday release testing, updating documentation, training resources, and identifying opportunities to improve finance workflows
- Manage and maintain financial master data, including organizational and reporting structures, while following established data governance and control procedures
- Review and validate financial data within Workday, investigating discrepancies, system errors, and exceptions to help maintain accurate and reliable financial information
Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or financial accounting systems
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
