Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator (Temporary)
Our client is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to support their warehouse and production operations on a temporary basis. This role is focused on materials coordination, inventory accuracy, receiving, ERP transactions, and supporting the efficient flow of technical components within a small, hands-on manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
* Enter all received materials into SAP/ERP with a high level of accuracy.
* Organize and maintain inventory locations within the warehouse.
* Pick, verify, and stage mechanical and electrical components for production and assembly teams.
* Accurately identify and differentiate industrial parts using part numbers, descriptions, labels, and specifications.
* Support the flow of materials between receiving, storage, and production areas.
* Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy.
* Identify inefficiencies in picking, receiving, storage, and inventory processes, recommending improvements where appropriate.
* Assist in improving warehouse organization and material traceability.
* Support shipment coordination and logistics documentation as needed.
* Work closely with Purchasing, Production, and other internal stakeholders to meet daily priorities.
Qualifications
* Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in warehouse coordination, shipping/receiving, materials management, or inventory control within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
* Experience handling industrial, mechanical, or electrical components is strongly preferred.
* Ability to identify and distinguish common mechanical and electrical parts, or demonstrate experience working with technical inventory.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
* Comfortable working in a small, dynamic environment where priorities may shift.
* Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies.
* Experience with customs or international shipping is an asset.
