Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm (T2P)
Location: Richmond, BC
Hours of Work: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established organization operating in a manufacturing and technical environment. They are known for their commitment to quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and condition
  • Record and update inventory in the ERP system
  • Sort, label, and organize received goods for storage or processing
  • Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders for shipment
  • Create shipping labels and related documentation
  • Communicate effectively with carriers and internal stakeholders
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and pallet stackers safely
  • Perform routine equipment checks to ensure proper functioning
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
  • Comply with regulatory requirements for handling and shipping goods
  • Handle hazardous materials safely and appropriately
  • Provide status updates to management as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with international shipping and exports
  • Experience working with ERP systems

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to perform basic numerical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
