- Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing employing tools like Canoe and VtestStudio from Vector.
- Craft and develop test scripts for software using Python or other prevalent programming languages.
- Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and/or Tier 1 clients to mirror their testing setups and execute similar tests.
- Undertake testing of CAN Network Management and Physical level by devising a test strategy that meets client specifications.
- Utilize LabVIEW or a scripting language such as Python to manage laboratory apparatus like temperature chambers and oscilloscopes, facilitating black box testing.
- Be adept in handling a power electronics development setting.
- Engage in formulating testing approaches, strategies, plans, and configurations.
- Generate, revise, publish, and log test reports in the system, adhering to scheduled milestones.
- Execute tests focusing on power supply and energy management systems.
- Holding a degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering is preferred. Other educational qualifications in electrical engineering are also acceptable.
- A minimum of four years' experience in Automotive ECU Testing and Qualification is required.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, I2C, SPI is essential.
- Skilled in conducting Diagnostic Testing.
- Competence in Python scripting and adept in using testing tools like Vector's CANoe, vTestStudio, LabView.
- Engage in customer interactions, requirement analysis, test automation, test case development, bug tracking, and devising test strategies.
- Practical experience in Black Box Testing and the use of testing equipment like Oscilloscopes and Signal Generators.
- Proficiency in utilizing tools such as Confluence, Jira, DOORS, and Git.
