Our top client in the utilities industry is looking for a Total Rewards Specialist to design, implement, and manage comprehensive total rewards programs—including compensation, benefits, and recognition initiatives.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in strengthening market competitiveness, supporting employee retention, and ensuring all rewards programs are fair, consistent, and inclusive.

Design, administer, and evaluate competitive compensation programs.
Oversee employee benefits, including health, retirement, and wellness plans.
Conduct regular market analyses to ensure competitiveness and equity.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for compensation and benefits.
Manage budgets and costs for all benefit programs.
Use data and analytics to measure and improve total rewards effectiveness.
Prepare and present total rewards reports for executive and senior leadership.
Partner with internal teams to align total rewards with business objectives.
Communicate program updates and information effectively to employees.
Develop and implement employee recognition programs.
Lead annual compensation reviews and job evaluation processes.
Maintain and manage internal HRMS systems.
Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
CEBS or CCP designation ideal. CHRP is also of value.
3-5 years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards.
Must have Experience working with unionized and non-unionized environment
Strong skills in market benchmarking and needs analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
