About Our Client

Our client, a well-established company in the Security Solutions and Specialty Hardware industry, is looking to hire a dynamic Technical Sales Support Specialist to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who has a great attitude, exceptional customer support skills, some technical skills, preferably in locksmithing or a related discipline and is a team player. This person will be an integral part of the team, providing technical support and know-how to other CSRs in the office.

Responsibilities

The Technical Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to the following:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from sales team members and customers.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance, including product demonstrations, presentations, and solution proposals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct product training sessions for internal staff and external customers.
• Assist with the development of sales collateral, technical documentation, and marketing materials.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Strong sales and customer service experience
• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of security products and/ or locksmithing
• Inside Sales experience in locking systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using a CRM system
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, self-starter with a “can-do” attitude
• Team player
• Experience in Security Solutions or the Specialist Hardware industry is an asset
