Our client in Toronto is seeking a driven Technical Product Manager to champion the development of innovative products. In this exciting role, you will have end-to-end ownership of key features, guiding them from initial ideas to successful implementation.
This position involves close collaboration with various teams to define and execute the product roadmap. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer needs and use cases, collecting valuable insights, and transforming these into well-defined product requirements that deliver significant value. Your work will be essential in ensuring we effectively meet customer needs, improve the overall user experience, and contribute to the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
**Feature Execution & Delivery:** Manage the entire lifecycle of product features, from initial ideas to development and final launch, with a focus on delivering high-quality releases on schedule.
**Customer Research:** Gather and analyze customer feedback and usage data to identify key pain points. This information is crucial for making informed product decisions and prioritizing future feature development.
**Data-Driven Decision Making:** Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data analysis to continuously improve our features and drive overall product enhancement.
**Stakeholder Management:** Work closely with various teams, including engineering, customer success, and marketing, to ensure everyone is aligned on priorities, expectations are clear, and progress is effectively communicated.
**Risk Management:** Proactively identify potential risks in the product development process and develop strategies to minimize their impact, ensuring successful product delivery.
**Quality Assurance:** Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure that all product releases meet high quality standards and provide an excellent user experience.
**Documentation:** Maintain thorough product documentation, including user stories, requirements, and release notes, to ensure clarity and alignment across all teams.
Qualifications:
Must have 3-5 years of experience and a strong technical background in software development. Hands-on experience in a tech environment, ideally with SaaS, AI, or similar products, is preferred.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in data analysis and market research to generate actionable customer insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams, are necessary.
A solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience in collaborative, cross-functional teams are important. We value strategic thinkers who can prioritize, balance trade-offs, and make data-driven decisions based on business needs.
