About Our Client

Our client, located in the Toronto area, is a public accounting firm looking for a Tax Manager to join their team! Reporting directly to the Partner, the Tax Manager's tasks will follow:

Responsibilities
  • Manage the tax planning engagements and projects for multiple different engagements
  • Research tax issues and present conclusions to the shareholders or partners
  • Work closely with Partners to provide innovative tax planning ideas to a variety of clients
  • Lead and mentor junior staff
  • Other ad-hoc duties are required
Qualifications
  • 4-5+ years of tax experience including tax planning, tax compliance, corporate and personal returns(public accounting firm experience is preferred) 
  • CPA designated or Masters in Tax/Accounting completed 
  • Plans or pursuing In-depth 
  • Extensive experience working on multiple different tax planning engagements
  • Experience using either CaseWare, Caseview, or TaxPrep
  • Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines and engagements
