Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and driven Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our client and help them continue to grow their amazing workforce. This opportunity is a six (6) month contract and an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a crown corporation. You will be reporting to the Manager – Talent Acquisition and be part of a small but impactful group. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to thrive in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Sourcing & Recruitment:

• Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent through various channels (job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals).
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

2. Candidate Experience:
1. Build strong relationships with candidates, ensuring clear communication and a positive hiring experience.
2. Guide candidates through the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
1. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
2. Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and market insights.
4. Recruitment Process Management:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
2. Ensure compliance with legal and company hiring policies and procedures.
5. Employer Branding & Networking:
1. Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.
2. Collaborate on employer branding initiatives to enhance the company’s market presence.

The ideal candidate will be available immediately for a six-month contract and bring over four years of full-cycle recruitment experience. This includes managing the entire talent acquisition process, from conducting intake meetings with stakeholders to handling offer negotiations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of staffing roles across diverse operational portfolios, including accounting/finance, IT, and business development. Experience in agency recruitment across multiple skillsets and success in managing high-volume hiring mandates is essential. Familiarity with HRIS or ATS systems is required, and a valid security clearance is mandatory. The role demands a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to evolving recruitment needs
