Job Description

Our client in York Region is seeking a proactive and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Human Resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, developing talent pipelines, and supporting hiring managers in attracting and hiring top talent across the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong understanding of recruitment strategies and candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles (corporate, technical, operational, etc.)

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies

  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other channels

  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interview schedules

  • Maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs

  • Prepare and post job advertisements and recruitment marketing materials

  • Support offer negotiation and onboarding processes

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Experience working with Workday or other Applicant Tracking Systems to manage requisitions, candidate pipelines and hiring workflows
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously
