The range offered for this position is: $90-95K annually plus full benefits, pension, and 4 weeks Vacation.
Responsibilities
Manage daily IT operations for efficiency, productivity, and timely service delivery.
Direct and manage a team of IT specialists.
Manage installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and health checks for the organization's systems and network components.
Manage and optimize network, firewall, VoIP, and conferencing systems.
Track and maintain end-user and server infrastructure through backup monitoring.
Diagnose and address complex system and network problems.
Manage vendor and contractor relationships to meet performance expectations and achieve team satisfaction.
Offer on-call help on a rotating basis.
Qualifications
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar subject, as well as equivalent experience.
5-10 years of experience as a Network/System Administrator or related function.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and topologies is highly desirable.
CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent certifications are strongly recommended.
Strong experience with network management and monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds, is essential.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.G., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.G., VMware, Hyper-V) is advantageous.
Ability to define and share best practices and standards for M365 operations.
Expert in configuring IP Networks
Working knowledge of Salesforce, Oracle NetSuite, WordPress, SQL, MS Great Plains, etc.
Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills.
