About Our Client

Our client is a well-established, highly recognized Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization with a strong presence across Canada and the United States. Known for their strong brand portfolio and collaborative culture, they continue to grow and invest in their finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, Corporate Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will support corporate finance through financial analysis, sales and SG&A reporting, forecasting, and business partnering. This role works closely with cross-functional teams in both Canada and the U.S., providing insight, improving processes, and supporting key planning cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end forecasting for balance sheet, working capital, SG&A, and legal entities

  • Partner with business leaders to review, analyze, and challenge BU forecasts

  • Prepare monthly SG&A analysis, KPI reporting, and variance commentary

  • Serve as a liaison between Canadian and U.S. Corporate Finance teams

  • Play an active role in the annual budget process, including templates, uploads, and assumption validation

  • Perform P&L analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting

  • Support process improvement initiatives, including balance sheet forecasting enhancements

  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting as required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

  • Fast learner with a proactive, independent work style

  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across functions
