Position: Social Media Manager
Location: GTA – North Toronto area
Work Type: HYBRID – 3-4 days in-office per week
Salary Range: Base between $75,000 – $95,000 (depending on experience)

Our client is a high-growth personal care company with a portfolio of well-known brands in the beauty and hair care space. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Social Media Manager will perform a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:
- Develop and execute a measurable, organic social strategy aligned with business objectives and brand identity
- Build and manage quarterly content calendars based on brand and communication priorities
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Marketing Communications (PR + Influencer), Creative, and Sales teams to align messaging and campaign execution
- Plan and manage content shoots and editing for social posts, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery
- Post content at a strategic cadence to maximize reach and engagement
- Act as community manager, responding to comments, DMs, and audience engagement
- Monitor and report on community health and social performance metrics, contributing to weekly reporting
- React quickly to trends, news, and cultural moments with relevant content
- Maintain and curate the social content library, graphic and video assets
- Conduct ongoing audits of performance, and present insights with recommendations
- Analyze KPIs, sentiment, online reviews, and product feedback to drive future strategy
- Liaise with customer service teams to address consumer inquiries as needed
- Innovate with new content formats and testing strategies to expand engagement and reach
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist, Strategist, or Manager within Beauty or Fashion
- Demonstrated success in growing and managing social communities
- Expertise across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, and Snapchat
- Strong skills in content production, including planning, editing, and managing both internal and external shoots
- Familiarity with Iconosquare or other social media publishing and analytics platforms
- Strong writing, creative thinking, and copy development abilities
- Solid analytical skills and experience with A/B testing, KPI tracking, and performance reporting
- Comfortable monitoring and reacting to social activity outside regular business hours when needed
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-moving environment
