Our client is seeking is seeking two Senior Systems Analysts for their Digital Insights team to play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based data solutions that enable high-quality analytics and reporting across the organization. Reporting to the Director, Digital Insights, these roles will focus heavily on advanced SQL development and data modeling while leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Fabric Data Factory, DevOps, and related cloud technologies. The Senior Systems Analysts will collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions that meet business requirements and align with established standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust data models to support enterprise analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain data ingestion pipelines within Microsoft Fabric, ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable data flows.
  • Build and maintain complex SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and database structures using T-SQL and PL/SQL for optimal performance, data integrity, and reliability.
  • Develop and support cloud-based systems and integrations leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, SQL, and DevOps.
  • Conduct thorough testing to validate system performance, stability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to configure and implement new features and applications.
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and provide accurate development estimates.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving Microsoft Fabric features and enhancements, proactively recommending improvements and optimizations.
  • Engage with Citizen Developers and Power Users, providing guidance on best practices to support effective platform usage.
  • Document technical processes, ensuring clear, accurate, and up-to-date system documentation.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Senior Systems Analyst with a strong foundation in SQL development and data modeling, bringing a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience delivering data-driven solutions in complex environments. You will possess a solid understanding of modern data architectures, integration patterns, and the full Software Development Life Cycle, and consistently apply development best practices to produce high-quality, reliable, and well-documented solutions. Comfortable working with Microsoft Fabric and related tools, they combine technical depth with practical data analytics knowledge to support informed decision-making. A collaborative and communicative professional, the ideal Systems Analyst is curious by nature, eager to learn new technologies, and able to manage competing priorities while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment.

What will make you stand out:
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in advanced SQL development, particularly T-SQL, including complex stored procedures, performance optimization, and data modeling at an intermediate to senior level.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Purview, and DevOps, supported by relevant Microsoft certifications is a huge asset.
  • A strong data analytics mindset, with experience using analytics tools such as Alteryx to translate data into actionable insights.
