About the Role:


Our client is looking for a professional Senior Financial Analyst that has a minimum of 3 years experience in financial reporting. The ideal candidate would have ERP exposure (multi-currency/divisional).


Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

  • Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and Board reports
  • Maintain and document financial controls
  • Support complex accounting and consolidation activities
  • Assist with year-end audit and consolidated statements
  • Maintain chart of accounts
  • Support Treasury with bank, AP, and AR reconciliations
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting cycles and review budget variances
  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking KPIs, sales trends, and margins
  • Collaborate with business leaders to deliver financial insights for decision-making
  • Support integration of acquisitions and new business initiatives
Tax & Statutory Compliance
  • Coordinate Canadian VAT (HST/PST/QST) and US sales tax filings with external providers
  • Oversee compliance with global tax filings and statutory audit requirements
  • Review sales taxability and support transfer pricing analyses

Qualifications:
  • Hold or be actively pursuing a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • 3–4+ years financial reporting experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
  • ERP exposure (multi-currency/divisional) an asset
  • Manufacturing experience an asset
  • Advanced Excel; Power BI an asset
  • Strong internal controls, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in teams
