We have an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the shared services group.
The role of the Senior Financial Analyst will be to help support the FP&A team in the business services group. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a critical role in the financial planning, analysis, and decision support functions. You will actively participate in the annual budgeting process, coordinate with various stakeholders across the organization, budget consolidation and analysis, and prepare management reports and presentations. You will be expected to develop and maintain complex financial models for budgeting and forecasting activities, while monitoring and providing variance analysis and recommendations based on the annual budget exercises. conduct financial analysis and review KPIs and trends. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with cross functional teams and be expected to pull data from many departments, systems, and reports. You will prepare management reports, maintain dashboards, and provide leadership with updates on financial performance. Our client requires someone who loves complex work and doesn’t get intimidated by large systems and processes. You will help identify areas for improvement within the FP&A team and help build efficiencies and best practices leveraging sophisticated ERPs and savvy reporting tools.
The Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 3 years working in a complex FP&A team, ideally within a publicly traded company. You will have post-secondary education in Accounting, and ideally a CPA or CFA designation. You will be able to demonstrate how your accounting operations knowledge has set the foundation for your stellar analytical skills to help build budgets, analyze KPIs, and build reports. You will be system savvy so you can adapt to multiple ERP systems and reporting tools while having advanced proficiency in Excel. The Senior Financial Analyst is a for someone who prides themselves on critical thinking and problem solving. You will use your strong attention to detail and time management skills to be able to meet tight deadlines and hold others accountable. You will be confident and capable while capitalizing on fantastic communication skills to present your financial findings to leadership and stakeholders. Proven ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment is essential. Our client requires someone on site a minimum of 3 days per week.
