What You’ll Do – The Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in enhancing financial processes, optimizing ERP systems, and driving automation. This role focuses on treasury, full-cycle accounting (AP optimization), system integrations, financial analysis, and risk management. You will have the opportunity to work on ERP-related projects, ensuring seamless system enhancements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the optimization of Accounts Payable processes driving efficiency and automation.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial processes, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Support ERP implementations, integrations, and system enhancements, working cross-functionally to improve financial workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying automation and cost-saving opportunities such as early payment discounts and rebate programs.
• Oversee and enhance the expense reimbursement process, evaluating new technologies and software partners.
• Manage payment schedules for cash forecasting, ensuring efficient treasury operations.
• Assist in the integration and management of Accounts Payable processes for new acquisitions.
• Support the Finance Director in treasury, risk management, insurance renewals, legal claims, and financing of assets.
• Research and recommend updates to financial policies and processes to maintain best practices.
• Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.

What You Bring – Skills & Experience

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation or progress towards CPA is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Finance Business Partner or similar position.
• Strong ERP experience, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365, ExFlow, and SAP Concur.
• Experience with ERP implementations, integrations, or process automation is a strong asset.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and eager to explore innovative solutions.
