About Our Client

Our client, located in Barrie, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team!

Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Supporting closing activities for month-end (journal entries, reconciliations, F/X, supporting schedules)
  • Assist in the preparation of reporting packages at the consolidated and subsidiary levels
  • Identify process improvements and streamline processes where possible
  • Assist in the annual audit process
  • Prepare other compliance reporting as required
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a CPA is considered an asset
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in accounting
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain attention to detail in an environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and has a team player approach
