Senior Director, Employment Services
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
The Senior Director, Employment Services is responsible for leading and scaling multi-site service delivery operations across the employment sector. This leadership role oversees a portfolio of programs and staff, ensuring alignment with funding models, labor market trends, and performance metrics. Reporting to the executive team, the Senior Director will guide strategic planning, employer partnerships, staff development, and service excellence.
Provide strategic oversight and operational leadership for employment services across multiple sites.
Manage a team of managers, coordinators, and frontline staff, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and accountability.
Ensure compliance with funder expectations and maintain service quality under performance-based funding models.
Develop and implement KPIs, reporting structures, and improvement plans to drive program success.
Build and strengthen employer engagement initiatives to support job seeker outcomes and workforce development.
Lead annual planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across service areas.
Represent the organization in sector meetings, stakeholder events, and community collaborations.
Support system transformation and innovation initiatives that respond to the evolving employment landscape.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure alignment between service delivery, client needs, and labor market demand.
2+ years of senior leadership experience, ideally in employment or social services, with a track record of leading complex, multi-site teams.
Strong understanding of performance-based service delivery models and current employment support frameworks in Ontario.
Experience leading through organizational or systemic change, with a collaborative and adaptable leadership style.
Skilled in operational planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight.
Proficient with data systems and reporting tools used in employment services (e.g., CRM, case management systems).
Demonstrated success in building employer relationships and delivering on engagement strategies.
Strong coaching and mentoring abilities, with a passion for talent development and team performance.
Excellent communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and represent the organization externally.
