About Our Client
Our client, located in the Burlington area, is a public accounting firm looking for a Senior Associate, auditor to join their team! The Senior Associate, Audit tasks will follow:
Responsibilities
- Preparation of annual working papers including year-end adjusting journal entries for audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- Preparation of T1, T2 and T3 tax returns
- Lead and mentor junior staff
- Other ad-hoc duties are required
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of small to medium size public accounting experience including audit, review, compilation, and tax experience
- Successful completion of the Common Final Examination (CFE) or CPA-designated
- Experienced with ASPE, ASNFPO, and Canadian income taxation
- Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines and engagements
