About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Senior Analyst at least 3 years experience working in a Finance/Accounting role.
Responsibilities
- Support forecasting process and monthly financial accounting, journal entries, month end analysis and annual budget
- Review monthly key business drives and assist with presentation materials
- Collaborate with multiple finance leaders with any tasks required
- Participate in the interim and year-end working papers for audits
- Organize account reconciliations on monthly basis
- Present ad hoc financial analysis
Qualifications
- Business/Finance degree (i.e. BBA, Comm. etc.) working towards and near completion of an accounting designation (CPA)
- At least 3 years experience working in a Finance/Accounting role
- Proficient skills and experience in MS Office Excel
- Detail oriented, professional and organized
- Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
- Experience with Great Plains accounting software (asset)
- Great understanding of accounting policies, practices and applications under IFRS
