Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their Finance team. Reporting to the AVP of Finance, this role focuses on analyzing and improving accounts receivable and unapplied cash, while also supporting broader accounting functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze accounts receivable, large broker receivables, unapplied cash, and bad debt allowances.
Maintain and improve process documentation and reporting accuracy.
Collaborate with finance, technology, and US teams to optimize processes.
Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Contribute to system improvements and participate in ad hoc projects.
Qualifications:
University degree in a relevant field; CPA preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., Oracle).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
