The Company
Our client, one of Canada's largest entertainment is rapidly growing and looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their team the accounting and finance division, which will be in office 5 days a week Downtown Toronto.

The Role
This role reports to the Associate Director of Finance and is responsible for full-cycle accounting duties. These include bank reconciliations, managing in-house billing processes, tracking costing, overseeing month-end processes including the Profit and Loss statement, handling expense reporting, and reviewing contracts between the company and its clients.

The Qualifications
  • University degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience in the entertainment or hospitality space
  • A very smart analytical, and business-minded person not afraid to be hands-on
  • Proficient with Excel is a just and a massive asset if you're proficient with Sage Intact
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Someone quite personable and enjoy speaking with people as this role will liaison across the company and with external partners outside the accounting & finance space
  • CPA designation is an asset but not a must
