About Our Client

Our client, a publically traded company, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for accounting, financial and regulatory reporting and planning, and be a part of the finance team transformation. If you have public accounting experience and are designated, this could be a great role for you!

Responsibilities

  • Lead period-end closing process
  • Preparation/analysis of financial statements using IFRS
  • Accounting for equity investments and other financial instruments
  • Assist with ERP implementation
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Maintain internal controls, recommend process improvements

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting
  • CPA designation
  • ERP experience (D365 an asset)
  • Mining experience an asset
