Our client is seeking a professional Senior Accountant with background working as a Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial and cash and income statements and balance sheets
- Record financial data and offer insights and recommendations to help business run
- Process analysis and recognize costs and revenues
- Oversee general ledger and approve transactions
- Reconcile accounts and recognize any potential issues
- Process internal controls and ensure compliance with standards and tax regulations
- Coach accounting staff and offer guidance
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Record cash flow and organize payment schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification (ideal)
- Background working as a Senior Accountant or similar role, ideally in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Good knowledge of accounting standards including GAAP
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite and Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
- Detail oriented, professional and organized
