Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to work on an open-ended contract to provide support to the Controller in all areas of accounting operations. While there is a team around you to help with the transactional payables and receivables, we are looking for an experienced Accountant who can assist with preparing bank reconciliations, depreciation schedules, accruals and prepaids. You will drive the cash management and cash flow reporting for stakeholders and reviewing intercompany transactions.

As the Senior Accountant, you will also be tasked with the financial statement preparation for various companies and work through the month & year end close process. Your strong Excel skills and ability to navigate through a lot of detail will be needed. Our client has accounting requirements through 5-7 different companies. Your ability to manage high volume, complex reconciliations is critical and the expertise needed to drive the accounting for multiple entities. Your strong attention to detail, ability to work with bankers, auditors and vendors will be needed. Our client boasts a family cohesive environment, and we are looking for someone who will embrace the entrepreneurial culture and appreciate the stability offered.

The Ideal Candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years in full cycle accounting. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to manage end to end multiple sets of books. Proficiency in Excel, adaptability to new financial systems is imperative. As the Senior Accountant, we are looking for someone with maturity and confidence to support the controller and provide her with the strong understanding of processes and ability to help her with workflow. You will bring a strong understanding of intercompany transactions and reporting but know how to drive the month end close for different entities. You experience working with both manual and automated processes will be needed and your desire to mentor a junior staff will be appreciated.
