About our client:

Our client is growing again!

An established Manufacturer and an industry leader, in business for over 50 years, is adding an Accounting Manager to their team!

Located in beautiful ORILLIA, Ontario (north of Barrie, approximately an hour north of the GTA)
Easy access right off Highway 11, great for those coming from the north or south!

Hybrid work model, 3 days in the office

Have you been a high performing Accountant who is ready to move into leadership? Or perhaps, you currently manage a small team while also being an individual contributor, leading to the overall success and growth of the organization?
Do you have 5+ years of experience in full cycle accounting, with emphasis on AP, AR, month end, treasury, tax and payroll?

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Reconciliations
Month end close and year end close
Prior treasury and payroll experience
Managing one direct report (prior experience an asset)

Qualifications:

Problem solver
Work well independently
Process-oriented
High attention to detail (they have 3 operating companies, and there is lots of work to be done)
Knowledge of IFRS
Knowledge of Canada and US tax legislation
CPA preferred
