Senior Accountant

A well-established publicly traded organization is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join its growing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to gain exposure to financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting, and business partnering within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Assist with external audit requirements and year-end financial statement preparation
- Participate in financial consolidations and technical accounting initiatives
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and reporting processes
- Perform variance analysis, KPI reporting, and provide financial insights to support business decisions
- Partner with Finance and Operations teams to improve reporting accuracy and operational performance
- Contribute to process improvements and continuous enhancement of financial reporting procedures
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles
- Experience supporting month-end close, financial statement preparation, and external audits
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle or similar ERP preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
