About Our Client

Our Brantford client is in search of a temporary Scheduler or Staffing Clerk for a 3-6 month contract engagement. This role is ONSITE in Brantford everyday.

Responsibilities

As Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling employees such as nurses and personal support workers. This is an extremely fast paced environment which requires scheduling of hours, replacement of employees and assignment of shifts. The Scheduler or staffing clerk is the first point of contact for staff regarding scheduling inquiries or absences. You will allocate and reassign scheduled employees as well as call in additional employees as needed. The Scheduler will enter schedule changes into the scheduling system in a timely manner, as close to “real time” as possible. This role is all about customer service and communication. You will receive multiple staffing and scheduling requests from employees and department Managers to meet operational guidelines and demands based on the terms of employment.

Qualifications

Ideally you will have at least one year of scheduling or staffing experience
Must have strong computer skills. MS Office, WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK
This role is open to anyone who is passionate about customer service, and has ABOVE AVERAGE verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment
