Our client in the healthcare software sector is seeking a results-driven Outbound Sales Manager with 5+ years of experience leading SaaS outbound sales teams, ideally within a B2B SMB market. This role is a true player-coach position: you’ll generate pipeline, develop and mentor Account Executives, and work closely with BDRs to convert cold prospects into high-value customers. This role is based out of Thornhill and is flexible with 2 times a week onsite if based locally GTA wide, otherwise open to discussion with candidates for fully remote across Canada
You will own outbound performance, refine processes, and collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to accelerate new customer acquisition. Your team’s mission is simple: hunt, connect, and close.
Lead, coach, and scale a team of outbound Account Executives.
Partner with the BDR Manager to align outreach, qualification, and handoffs.
Conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and performance coaching sessions.
Foster a high-energy, high-accountability culture focused on achievement.
Support hiring, onboarding, and scaling of outbound sales programs.
Own performance against new-logo acquisition targets.
Ensure consistent 3–4x pipeline coverage across the team.
Build and optimize outbound workflows, cadences, and objection-handling strategies.
Create and maintain sales playbooks, processes, and AE career paths.
Monitor and enhance BDR-to-AE handoff quality to maximize conversion.
Work with Marketing to refine ICPs, messaging, and targeted lead lists.
Act as a feedback loop to Product and Marketing based on market trends and customer insights.
Develop and manage reporting dashboards across Salesforce and sales engagement tools (Outreach/Salesloft).
Track key outbound KPIs: meetings booked, held rates, conversion rates, win rates, quota attainment.
Analyze outbound activity to improve AE productivity (calls, emails, demos, follow-ups).
Review and optimize campaign performance for increased effectiveness.
5+ years of experience managing outbound SaaS sales teams.
Strong command of outbound tactics: cold calling, sequencing, email/SMS outreach.
Proven record of exceeding outbound sales targets.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and performance-management skills.
Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, Gong/Chorus, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or startup environments.
Background selling to SMBs—wellness/fitness industry experience is a strong plus.
Experience building outbound teams from the ground up or during hypergrowth.
Background in vertical SaaS or SMB-focused software.
