About Our Client
Our client, a manufacturer, and distributor of luxury blinds sold to corporate offices, high-end condominiums and restaurants, airports, and homes, is looking for a Sales Executive with an existing book of business to join their Greater Toronto team. The Sales Executive that is the best fit has sold to businesses in Ontario such as luxury high-rises and restaurants, and has a passion for bespoke fabrics and finishes. The company offers a base salary plus commissions.

Responsibilities

As part of the Sales team, the Sales Executive will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:

  • Act as the primary contact with decision-makers
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets
  • Actively hunt leads and utilize your existing book of business
  • Drive to locations with product samples, and consult with clients to match their needs with the right solution
  • Attend weekly sales calls, and quarterly in-person sales meetings/training
  • Write up specs, take basic measurements, and create signed documentation
  • Negotiate on pricing, working to achieve sales targets while satisfying the customer
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner

Qualifications

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

  • Proven ability to stay long-term with a company
  • 4 or more years of experience in large-scale sales of blinds
  • Able to visit with clients outside of traditional business hours
  • Must have your own vehicle, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record
  • Enjoys learning detailed product specifications, and can translate this knowledge to the consumer
  • Highly articulate relationship builder who easily gains trust
  • Outgoing personality enjoys the social aspect of sales
