Our reputable client in the telecommunications sector is in an exciting growth phase and seeking an experienced Director of Sales, North America to help accelerate their success. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic global team and make a direct impact in a fast-evolving industry.
This is a remote/travel role and ideally seeking someone in Dallas or Denver area.
The Director of Sales, North America will drive new business growth and expand existing accounts across the region. You will own the full sales cycle for our OSS/BSS software solutions—engaging senior executives, technical leaders, and key decision-makers within CSPs. This role is a stand alone position (individual contributor) and you will report to the Head of Sales, Americas.
Develop and execute a strategic territory plan for Western North America.
Drive new customer acquisition and expand software revenue within existing CSP accounts.
Position our software solutions to highlight value in network performance, automation, and service delivery.
Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships with target CSPs to ensure long-term growth.
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and closure.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, support, and managed services teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data in CRM systems.
Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
10+ years of software sales experience within the CSP industry, including direct quota responsibility.
Proven success in winning new accounts and expanding existing relationships.
Deep understanding of CSP operations, OSS/BSS, network virtualization, and cloud-native networking.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
Expertise in strategic account planning, value-based selling, and competitive positioning.
Consistent record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
Ability to operate independently as an individual contributor in a global environment.
High proficiency with CRM platforms and accurate forecasting.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Must be eligible to work in the specified region.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet customer and business commitments.
