Our client is the largest privately-owned company that offers access to a broad range of electrical distribution products and services. To support this exponential growth, they are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their dynamic team in a full-time permanent position. This position will run from Monday to Friday and offer a competitive salary depending on the experience. Salary - $110 to $120K

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost savings, and high performance.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing methods (like Kanban, Pull systems, and flow optimization) to improve processes and reduce waste.
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, production, and engineering to align supply chain plans with business goals.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and control costs.
  • Identify and manage risks to keep the supply chain running smoothly.
  • Use data to spot trends, track performance, and find ways to improve.
  • Manage demand planning, inventory, and material flow to keep stock levels balanced and avoid overstock.
  • Track long lead-time materials and ensure they match production schedules while anticipating any potential delays.
  • Help map out material flow to streamline production processes.
  • Lead cross-team efforts to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of supply chain experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems like Infor, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Skilled at handling multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Certifications like APICS, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
