About our Client

Our client is a steel detailing company that has been in operation for more than 40 years. They are well-known for providing a consistent, timely supply of steel detailing services, and serve a wide range of clients worldwide. They are currently looking for a Steel Detailing Project Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are from 8 am to 4:30 pm and are offering up to $40 an hour depending on the experience. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with the right skills - Apply today!

Responsibilities

  • Organize steel detailing projects for TDS and the fabricator, seeing them through to their completion.
  • Assist in coordinating project goals with engineers, architects, and other relevant parties.
  • Determine and document project opportunities and hazards.
  • Oversee project modification requests, ensuring they are accurately recorded and shared with all pertinent stakeholders.
  • Reviewing models and drawings as required, and interacting with detailers in the company’s overseas offices.

Qualifications

  • Must have worked in steel details for ten years.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in checking and project management.
  • Understanding of CISC and AISC steel specifying standards and procedures
  • Understanding of Tekla Structures
  • Excellent communication abilities in written and spoken English.
