Responsibilities

• Case Management: Overseeing a portfolio of personal injury cases, ensuring timely progression and resolution.
• Legal Representation: Representing clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and settlement discussions related to personal injury claims.
• Client Consultation: Providing legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights, options, and potential outcomes.
• Case Analysis: Assessing the merits of personal injury claims, conducting legal research, and formulating strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Document Preparation: Drafting legal documents, including complaints, motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Investigation: Conducting thorough investigations into accidents or incidents resulting in personal injuries, gathering evidence, and interviewing witnesses to support clients' claims.
• Negotiation: Negotiating with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in personal injury cases to secure fair settlements for clients.
• Trial Advocacy: Presenting cases in court, including examining witnesses, presenting evidence, and making legal arguments on behalf of clients during trials and hearings.

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience working as a Personal Injury Lawyer
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Have sound judgment and the ability to understand their client’s perspectives
• Ability to provide superior service to clients
• Handle the caseload from beginning to end
• Member of the B.C BAR and in good standing
• Ability to provide clear direction and be comfortable with delegating tasks
