About Our Client
Our client offers top-notch HVAC contracting services for both commercial and residential projects in the Greater Vancouver, British Columbia area. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Sheet Metal Foreman to join their amazing team in Burnaby on a full-time permanent basis. You will be working Monday through Friday, 8 hours a day. This position offers competitive wages, and benefits, including medical, dental, and matching group retirement plans. Responsibilities
- Overseeing multiple projects and new residential high-rise construction
- Installation of parkade fans, ducting, suite venting, ERVs, and slab duct layout
- Monitoring block-out measurements
- Overseeing Red Seal Journeymen and apprentices
- Teaching each apprentice and journeyman best practices
- Coordinating with the General Contractor to solve issues
Qualifications/Experience:
- 10 years experience as a foreman
- Extensive experience in new residential high-rise construction.
- Great communicator and problem-solver
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to set up Slab Layout plans (cheat sheets)
- Supervisors Responsibility Training
- Experience in the HVAC industry
- Detail-oriented and multi-tasking
