About the Role:

Our client is looking for a Revenue Coordinator to join their team for an 18-month contract with the possibility of going permanent. In this role you will ensure accurate client account information, regularly update clients on their account status, and help prevent overdue payments. You’ll also support the Operations and Leasing teams with key information related to client relationships. The ideal candidate comes from the Real Estate or Property Management industry within Property Admin, Leasing Admin, Finance, or Accounting.

  • Collect rent payments on time and follow company guidelines
  • Provide information to the legal team regarding tenants in default, litigation, or bankruptcy
  • Prepare reports and letters for tenants with overdue accounts, including statements and notices
  • Review rent outstanding on the 5th of each month to meet company goals
  • Keep detailed reports on outstanding accounts, categorizing them for effective management
  • Maintain rent rolls and charges in the system as per lease agreements
  • Process client billings, rental notices, and parking fees accurately and on time
  • Verify lease details, send rental notices, and regularly communicate with clients
  • Input and follow up on monthly sales and consumption information from tenants
  • Reconcile monthly recovery estimates and manage recovery accruals
  • Assist with implementing new platforms and system updates as needed
  • Lead monthly AR meetings with Property GM and VP of Operations to address action items
  • Reconcile specialty leasing and storage contracts, ensuring they’re processed correctly
  • Process service-related charges and reconcile balance sheet accounts for quarterly reports
  • Build strong relationships with tenants to ensure they have all the necessary info to make timely payments

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study
  • 1-2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Property Administration
  • Real Estate or Property Management experience is required
  • Experience with Yardi a strong asset
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
