Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing various types of letters and legal documents.
• Assisting in supporting the sale, purchase, and mortgage documents for residential conveyancing.
• Managing all the files and maintenance and bringing forward the system
• Overseeing the calendars and emails are up to date, and assisting with lawyer scheduling
• Coordinating and liaising with clients
• Other ad-hoc general administrative responsibilities as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Residential/Commercial Conveyancer is necessary
• Required to have completed and have a certificate of a recognized Legal Assistant Program.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
• Proficiency with BC Online and Econvey is an asset
• Impressive and strong attitude in communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills
• Capability to receive constructive feedback
• Demonstrates skills of being self-driven to take direction and work independently or as part of a team
• Is always professional and has a friendly demeanor
