ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client, an industry-leading provider of automated parking solutions technology, is looking to hire a Regional Sales Representative with experience specifically in Access Control Systems for buildings or parking. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who has strong software/technology knowledge. The ideal sales representative has extensive experience with the entire sales process, excels at lead generation and relationship building, has strong negotiating skills, is a quick learner, and can meet with clients in and around the Greater Toronto Area. The ideal candidate will earn between $110 - 140K / year which includes a strong base plus commissions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Regional Sales Representative will perform a diverse range of functions including but limited to:
- Prospect and sell to new customers in the defined sales territory and across all designated market sectors
- Develop and manage relationships with existing customers
- Take a leadership role in contributing to the overall success of the sales team
- Meet performance goals and objectives to drive the overall growth of the business
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Achieve sales objectives by planning and setting goals, making forecasts, and analyzing performance data
- Gain a comprehensive knowledge of company products and services to effectively represent the company and achieve sales objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years experience in B2B selling/technical sales field related to enterprise software solutions associated with complex, large-scale network environments
- Experience with Parking Solutions, Building Control Systems, CCTV, Building Access Control Systems, ATMs, Building Environmental Control Systems, Highway Traffic Management Systems, and/ or Revenue Control Systems would be preferred.
- Have or are able to leverage network with commercial and residential property/ building owners and managers across Ontario
- Effective and persuasive oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills in one-on-one meetings and in group settings
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- University Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma in a related field
- Education and training in basic electronics, electrical theory, data communications, and computer networks
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office software applications
- Experience working with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
- Availability to travel on business as needed
