Responsibilities:

• Carefully reviewing drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Conducting thorough operational and safety risk assessments for project tasks.
• Performing general maintenance and repair duties related to building exteriors and equipment.
• Installing various elements such as concrete formwork, fencing, and barricades.

Qualifications:

• Completion of Secondary School education.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Possession of a Certificate of Journeyman Carpenter Trades Qualification authorized by the Province of British Columbia.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and installation specifications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Competence in using relevant machinery and equipment.
• Must have own tools and own transportation.
