Our client, located in Mississauga, is hiring a Purchasing Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on cost optimization, vendor performance, and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier negotiations, contracts, and procurement strategy.
- Optimize supply chain operations, cost control, and risk management.
- Manage KPIs, vendor scorecards, and performance reviews.
- Oversee and develop the Purchasing Team.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and ERP expertise.
- SCMP, CPIM, or CPM certification is a plus.
- Proven leadership in procurement and process improvement.
