Looking to grow their middle management team and create some succession planning, we are searching for a couple of residential property managers to help oversee a few sites.
With an immediate opening for Residential Property Managers, we are looking for highly motivated and engaged Property Managers to oversee the day-to-day operations for some of the sites with 300+ units. Working with a savvy team of senior PMs, you will support the leadership team by overseeing the property maintenance, tenant relations, and financial management of the asset. You will coordinate the maintenance and repairs and ensure the buildings are compliant with Health & Safety requirements while conducting regular inspections to address issues in a timely manner. The Property Manager will be the main point of contact for tenants, by marketing available vacancies, screening tenants, facilitating lease signings and renewals, and addressing any tenant care issues. You will manage the rent collection, and ensure the financial records are accurate for budget management and reporting to the senior leadership team. The Property Manager is the liaison between the site and the head office and it is imperative that you represent the head office professionally and immediately to tenant concerns and vendor needs.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for the property management industry and want to work for one of the larger and more stable residential firms that offer a robust portfolio. You will bring your minimum 3 years of property management or hospitality experience so you can step into a manager role within the team. We are looking for someone who wants to be groomed and mentored to a Senior PM role within 12-18 months and is ready to broaden their skills or portfolio. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has worked for a smaller property management firm, a hotel, or a senior living/retirement home and looking for a place to develop their skills. We are looking for a strong communicator who knows how to multi-task while delivering an excellent customer experience. You will have some financial acumen to manage your budgets, and expenses and track costs but also have the personality to diffuse problems but be firm when required. You will have a strong understanding of managing residential properties, and any knowledge of landlord & tenant act and leases would be a huge asset. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
