ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a property management company located in North Vancouver, is looking for a PROPERTY ADMINISTRATOR to join their team. The Property Administrator will perform administrative duties and coordinate activities related to the property management and leasing of 32 multi-tenant industrial properties. Salary Range: $55,000-75,000



Responsibilities

  • Manage inquiries and schedule property showings for tenants and prospects.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, capturing minutes and action items.
  • Handle service requests, coordinating repairs with the maintenance team.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread documents such as lease applications and contracts.
  • Assist in screening applications and organizing tenant turnovers.
  • Maintain building contact lists and ensure updated information.
  • Address trouble calls promptly.
  • Support onboarding of new tenants, including insurance, utility transfers, and welcome packages.
  • Support existing tenants with rent billing, payments, insurance, packages, service requests, and correspondence.
  • Manage distribution and filing of tenant information, contracts, renewals, and amendments.
  • Coordinate access to tenant premises for servicing, maintenance, inspections, and required work.
  • Track service/maintenance contracts for outside contractors.
  • Assist Accounts Receivable with collections, contractor scheduling, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • 3 years of relevant experience in property management, leasing, or real estate administration.
  • Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Business Administration, Urban Land Economics, or Property Management preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and OneNote.
  • Experience with Sage Timberline is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential situations with integrity.
  • Customer-service oriented with superior organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, adept at working in team environments.
  • Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
