About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Project Accountant with at least 3+ years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Year-end documents, HST filings, quarterly budgets, month-end close-outs
• Manage bank reconciliations and daily cashflows
• Reconciliation of trust statements provided by legal counsel
• Review project expenses and monthly closing schedules and procedures
• Liaison with CRA and address any questions or inquiries
• Organize statements in reference to legal counsel
• Manage various cost analysis
• Participate in ad hoc tasks when required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA Designation (asset)
• At least 3+ years of accounting experience
• Background working with Constellation Homebuilder Newstar Suite and Procore (asset)
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suites and Excel
• SQL Database knowledge (asset)
• Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
• Detail-oriented, organized, and professional
