About Our Client

Our client, a member based Canadian professional services organization, is looking to hire a Program & Content Advisor to support the development and ongoing improvement of learning programs for their member community. This is a 6-month contract position. The successful candidate will be a CPA with industry or corporate experience, who can act as a SME to review the existing portfolio, and work with other SME's to advise the client's internal teams to update or develop professional development programs that remain relevant, credible, and aligned with the needs of working professionals.


Responsibilities:

The Program & Content Advisor will work with internal product and learning teams and will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including:

  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to identify learning priorities and content needs
  • Reviewing the existing learning catalogue to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities
  • Working with subject-matter experts to define topics, scope, and learning objectives for new programs
  • Evaluating course proposals and materials to ensure quality, accuracy, and practical relevance
  • Supporting the positioning and rollout of new learning programs
  • Maintaining relationships with external experts, instructors, and industry contributors
  • Using professional judgment and market awareness to guide what learning programs should be created or updated

Required Qualifications:

The following are minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

  • CPA designation (required)
  • Experience in program development, professional learning, or content oversight
  • Sufficient practitioner experience to assess learning needs across different professional environments
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders and external subject-matter experts
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
