Working with the Director of Procurement, we are looking to add to his evolving team as a result of recent growth through acquisition.

As the Bilingual Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with the Director to help manage and deliver the procurement plan for existing business units across North America. With an emphasis on vendor sourcing, contract management & negotiations, and supplier support, we are looking for a dynamic professional who can help execute the corporate procurement strategy. You will be expected to prepare RFPs and work with stakeholders to evaluate and negotiate contracts. You will review existing contracts and support vendors through the renewal processes. We are looking for someone who is experienced in developing sourcing strategies that recognize risk, consider efficiencies, and optimize value. This role is integral to working with cross-functional leaders to ensure the procurement strategy remains proactive and addresses current and anticipatory needs. You will be familiar with purchase requisitions and orders and the end-to-end procurement cycle. As a result, you will ensure the corporate internal controls are adhered to throughout the procurement cycle and ensure proper documentation within the systems.

The Ideal Candidate will bring a strong business background and a minimum of 4 years working within a complex procurement department. You will have experience working with both goods and services and any experience working with construction or energy projects will be considered a huge asset. We are looking for someone who is a superb negotiator and knows how to find the ideal solutions for the vendor and company. You will know how to apply forward-thinking sourcing and procurement techniques while understanding the procure-to-pay process. Experience working with ERP systems will be expected and IFS knowledge would be an asset. This role is for someone who boasts strong organizational skills and can work well independently amidst a larger team. You will be able to show strong initiative and an eye towards process improvement. As you will be dealing with vendors in both English & French, we are looking for someone with amazing communications skills in both languages. You will be able to seamlessly write and speak to help serve suppliers in Quebec.

Must be willing to work in the office 3 days/week minimum.
