What You'll Do
Provide technical leadership throughout the planning, design, and execution of electrical power projects.
Develop and review engineering packages, including protection and control designs, station electrical layouts, schematics, wiring details, and equipment specifications.
Complete or oversee analytical studies related to system protection, fault currents, grounding, load flow, arc flash, and overall system performance.
Support project planning, technical proposals, engineering estimates, and client presentations.
Guide and mentor engineering staff through design reviews, technical problem-solving, and professional development.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, code-compliant engineering solutions on schedule.
What You'll Bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering and registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
Extensive experience designing medium- and high-voltage electrical systems, including substations.
Strong understanding of protection and control engineering, power system modelling, and utility standards.
Experience using power system analysis and electrical design software.
Proven ability to lead technical teams while building strong client relationships.
