About Our Client:
Our client is currently hiring for a permanent part-time Human Resources Assistant to join their team. This role is a hybrid role and offers excellent flexibility.
Responsibilities:
* Administrative office experience ie: attend meetings as requested
* Support membership services
* Assist with processing grievances/grievance arbitration
* Supports stewards with research, training coordination, and stewards network
* Assist with all tasks related to contract negotiations
* Liaise between unions, associations, student councils etc
* Assist with digital publications
* Utilize google suite for various tasks - sheets, docs, google drive
Qualifications:
* Mandatory experience and exposure to labour relations and working with unions/unionized environment
* Comprehensive skills and well versed with digital technology, specifically, Google Workspace, MS Office, Adobe Suite experience
* Excellent attention to detail
* Be self-motivated and proactive
* Exhibit a sense of calm and professionalism when faced with stressful conditions
* Comfortable with basic administrative tasks, scanning, filing, etc.
