Our client, an HVAC solutions firm, is seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join their dynamic sales team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and new customers. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in the HVAC and construction industry, with an emphasis on product knowledge and sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and repeat business. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service.
Generate and deliver accurate, detailed quotes and proposals for prospective and existing customers based on their needs. Follow up regularly to close deals and ensure timely project execution.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by building relationships with potential clients. Increase the customer base by reaching out to new markets and industries, leveraging existing networks, and using strategic lead generation techniques.
Effectively pitch and promote our full range of HVAC solutions, including cooling towers, humidification systems, portable air conditioning, and other HVAC building systems. Customize presentations to match the specific needs of each prospect.
Represent the company at various industry events, including trade shows, corporate events, and networking functions. Participate in CTM (Customer Technical Meetings) and other company-led initiatives to promote products, services, and new innovations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales within the HVAC, construction, or related industries. Familiarity with HVAC systems and components is essential.
Strong working knowledge of HVAC building systems, including but not limited to air conditioning, heating systems, cooling towers, and humidification solutions. Understanding of system installation, maintenance, and technical specifications is preferred.
Proven track record in sales with an ability to effectively negotiate and close deals. Must be able to handle complex sales cycles from prospecting to post-sale follow-up.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to craft compelling presentations, clearly explain technical details, and negotiate contracts effectively with various stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Proven time management abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and sales software tools. Ability to quickly learn new software and systems as necessary.
