About our Client

Our client, a commercial health, hygiene, and disease-prevention company with a strong franchising footprint across North America, is looking for a CLEANING SUPERVISOR to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The Route Supervisor ensures service and installation functions run efficiently, meeting customer needs and expectations while promoting effective communication and continuous improvement.

Salary starts at 50K to 60K

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support the daily work of service technicians.
  • Make sure routes are completed on time and vehicles are loaded/unloaded properly.
  • Keep vehicles and equipment in good working condition.
  • Communicate with customers about service schedules and resolve any issues.
  • Train and guide team members to meet company standards.
  • Ensure safety rules and company policies are followed.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts professionally.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to set team goals and deadlines.
  • Organize tasks and make sure team members understand their roles.
  • Track team performance and provide coaching when needed.
  • Step in to help with services when required.
  • Keep accurate records and follow company and legal requirements.
  • Be available to travel to the U.S. for training or other business needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in Canada (ideally in service, logistics, facilities, or similar industries).
  • High school diploma required; a college or university degree in management or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid Canadian Class 5 driver’s license in good standing (must be maintained as a condition of employment).
  • Ability to learn company systems and understand a variety of job functions.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management abilities.
  • Must be eligible to travel to the USA (valid passport or required documentation).
  • Early morning availability is required (start time as early as 6:00 AM).
  • Comfortable using MS Office and route/dispatch management software.
  • An ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while managing sometimes
    conflicting deadlines
  • A collaborative management style that engages with the larger organization for the
    benefit of all
  • The ability to effectively delegate responsibilities and tasks when appropriate
